Honest Review: My Worst Laptop Experience
I want to share my experience with this 👍👎👎👎laptop so others don’t face the same frustration. On paper, it looks powerful – it has an Intel i7 processor. But in reality, the experience has been very disappointing.
1. Performance & Lag
Even with an i7, the laptop lags badly.
Apps open slowly, multitasking feels painful, and it struggles with even basic tasks.
The issue? It runs on outdated hardware around the CPU – slow storage (HDD) and limited RAM make the processor almost useless.
2. Display Quality
The screen is dull and shaded with poor brightness.
Video playback looks grainy because the bitrate support is too low.
For a so-called “premium laptop,” the display feels worse than entry-level devices.
3. Sound
The built-in speakers are weak and flat.
Watching movies or listening to music is a poor experience unless you use external speakers or headphones.
4. Build & Safety Concerns
Heating issues cause the system to throttle and slow down.
Long use feels unsafe because the laptop gets uncomfortably hot.
5. Overall Verdict
Just having an i7 processor doesn’t guarantee a smooth or premium experience.
If the rest of the laptop – storage, RAM, graphics, and display – are low quality, the user experience will still be terrible.
Lesson for buyers: Don’t just look at the processor name when buying a laptop. Check for SSD storage, at least 16GB RAM, good display quality, and proper cooling. Otherwise, you’ll end up like me – stuck with a machine that looks good on paper but fails in real life. 👎
And also check the aspect ratio 👎

I bought this laptop in September 23rd Amazon Prime day sell. I have purchased this laptop for general purpose and mostly coding practices. As im a working professional and wanted to upgrade my skills in (full stack development) upgrading to Lenovo is a good experience as of now its been 2 months im using it. Good display and keyboard quality it is having backlit feature which can be adjusted in 2 ways. As processor is i7 (Smartchoice Ideapad Slim 3 13Th Gen Intel Core I7-13620H) battery consumption is more as it requires more power to deliver things smoothly. I didnt found any heating issue as off now as i tried gaming also it works smoothly no lag faced as such. It is a very easy to carry laptop students who are in college they will find this useful. For display i can say they have used panels which are good not at higher side i can say may be because this is performance and battery delivery mixed kind of laptop if they would have used high quality of display then that can cause more battery consumption hence to balance this they came up with good quality display.
Sound quality i can say it is good. I have attached video in my review. We get thin metal body and I specially liked the position of lenovo icon in the back side. I know it’s lengthy review but trust me if this is your first laptop or if you are switching from any other this is good one. One more addition you can extend the ram pf this laptop even if you feel like this ram is not helping in future you might can extend it
